Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations
Position Profile - Posted January 2021
Kairos Partnerships is committed to partnering with hungry kingdom leaders to equip them to become healthy and mature leaders by offering encouragement, perspective, and hope, and providing the tools needed to thrive in their ministry and leadership roles. We work with leaders in vocational ministry positions (pastors, church planters and other kingdom leaders) in a variety of leadership and ministry contexts (churches, church plants, Christian college and seminary faculty/staff, non-profits, ministries, businesses, para-church organizations, mission agencies, etc.) who want to honor God as they lead others. Last year we worked with leaders from 40+ denominations in 26 states.
Currently we are looking to hire a qualified person to serve in the newly created position of Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations. Through focused strategic content development, as well as project implementation and the improvement of our structures and processes, we believe we are poised to grow in three strategic areas in 2021:
Expand our reach in order to impact more leaders: we believe we can expand the ways we can serve, partner with, equip, and support kingdom leaders
Communicate strategically the opportunities we offer in order to serve leaders (i.e. coaching, speaking opportunities, consulting services, writing, etc.).
Develop high-quality, evergreen resources and tools to generate revenue from content offerings (i.e. e-books, books, assessments, group coaching modules, videos/webinars, etc.).
The qualified person is expected to be:
A passionate follower of Jesus committed to His mission and His Church who desires to join a team of people committed to serving hungry kingdom leaders
Able to understand the mission of Kairos Partnerships, our ethos, and our unique approach to caring for and equipping leaders
Proactive and possess a get-it-done mindset
Entrepreneurial and wired to take initiative
A big-picture thinker, always looking to see how what we do aligns with our mission
Responsible and highly trustworthy, with strong evidence of follow through and follow up
Highly organized and responsible to oversee and complete projects in a timely manner
Highly intrinsically motivated with a strong orientation for action; a capable self-manager
Creative and flexible
A synthesizer of old content to be melded together into clear, coherent, helpful, and inspiring ways and by developing quality “evergreen” content
Strong communication skills, specifically in written form
A multi-tasker, capable of working on multiple projects at a time with high quality and efficiency
Specific responsibilities:

Create (or partner with others) for graphics, tools, and visuals for the repackaged tools into visually appealing, ready-made products and offerings.
Publish 5 Things in 5 Weeks, KP’s every other week online newsletter
